Each horse has a customized work program depending on its needs and the owners goals. I
teach my riders all aspects of good horsemanship in addition to helping better their riding skills. Whether you want to show
or just pleasure ride I can help you & your horse reach your goals.
The horses are not only worked in the arena/round pen,
but they often get to go out on trail (once ready). It is a great way to let them have a mental break from the arena work
and still get training. I also at times (with your permission) take them to show grounds, other ranches, etc. to
be schooled. This not only gives them hauling practice, but also lets them get used to being in different environments. They
get used to all the commotion, and learn to pay attention to their rider even when there is a bunch of stuff going on.
I believe that a horse should have respect on the ground
before anything else.
I always
encourage owners to come out and visit their horse(s) and watch me work with them.
